Check-in and purchase a ticket at Etihad
Before buying a ticket for an Etihad flight, we draw your attention to two features:
- The etihad.com website is not fully localized. In some cases the page may be displayed in English;
Go to etihad.com.
On the main page select ticket type, class of service, departure date and departure/arrival points. Specify the number of passengers and click on the “Search flights” button. After that, you will be taken to the flight selection page.
Select the desired flight and class of service. Click on the “Select” button. Please note that the total cost of your order is displayed in the field in the upper right corner. After selecting a ticket, you will be prompted to enter your personal information.
Enter your name, nationality and current contact details. Please note that the phone and postal number you enter must be up-to-date: this is where you will receive your booking code and tickets. Personal data should be entered in the same way as in your passport. Click on the “Continue” button.
After that you will go to the point of seat selection. Please note that some seats are booked for an additional fee. Click on the “Update seats” button.
Next, you can select additional services.
If you do not want to use additional services, click on “Pay”. You will be redirected to the payment page.
On the payment page, select a convenient payment method and click “Pay”. You will be redirected to the corresponding page of the payment service. Confirm your payment.
Please note that a number of services (e.g. PayPal) charge additional fees for some types of payments. The fee will be included in the final invoice price.
Instructions for buying a ticket at an airport ticket office
To buy a ticket at an airport ticket office, you must arrive at Sheremetyevo Airport in person and go to the check-in desk. There you will be asked to provide personal information and indicate which flight you wish to purchase a ticket for. Follow the instructions of the airport employee. After payment, don’t forget to pick up the printed ticket with the booking code (usually indicated in bold print on the front of the ticket).
How to check-in for your Etihad flight online
To check-in for an Etihad flight, go to etihad.com. Under the ticket purchase form, there will be a check-in option. Click on it and enter your booking code and passenger’s last name in Latin characters in the window that appears. Click “Register”.
After registration, select a passenger seat on the airplane layout and click “Determine Seats”. You will be provided with a boarding pass in electronic form. You can print it out yourself or at the baggage check-in desk at the airport.
